About the Scheme
Druids Heath is a mainly residential area, located approximately 6 miles south of Birmingham City Centre. Close to the border with Worcestershire, it benefits from a large amount of green space and good access to the A435 road and M42 motorway.
While Druids Heath enjoys an excellent location, much of its housing and amenities were developed in the 1960s and are now in poor condition. Its sense of community spirit is a genuine strength and provides an invaluable support system for its residents. But there are longstanding social and economic challenges in the areas that this scheme seeks to address. This is why the regeneration of Druids Heath is taking place.
We will work in collaboration with residents, communities, and partner organisations. This is an opportunity to tackle those challenges and provide the community with a tangible social and economic benefits.
We will bring together a group of organisations with the capability to deliver the regeneration. One that will deliver high-quality, mixed-tenure homes together with enhanced green spaces and connectivity. New community and commercial amenities will create a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike, while also creating jobs.
